How much does range or stove repair cost?
The cost depends on the problem and the parts needed. Our service calls start as low as $95, and after we diagnose the issue you get an upfront estimate before any work begins.
Why won't my gas burner light?
The most common causes are a clogged burner port, a dirty or worn igniter, a faulty spark module, or moisture around the burner cap. Cleaning the burner can sometimes help, but if it still won’t light or keeps clicking, it needs a technician.
Why is my electric burner not heating?
A burned-out coil or surface element, a loose connection, a faulty burner receptacle, or a bad infinite switch are the usual causes. If one burner works and another doesn’t, it’s typically a single failed part rather than a problem with the whole range.
What should I do if I smell gas from my stove?
Don’t turn on any lights or appliances or use anything that could spark. Leave the area right away and call your gas company or 911 from outside. Once it’s safe, we can inspect and repair the range.
Is it worth repairing my range or should I replace it?
If your range is under about 10 to 15 years old and the repair is reasonable, fixing it usually costs far less than replacing it. If it’s much older, has a cracked glass top, or has multiple failing parts, replacement may make more sense. We’ll give you an honest recommendation either way.
